Alflorex® Dual Action can be taken with or without food, at any time of the day. However, fruit juices are generally acidic and acid can damage the 35624 culture so we recommend taking it with water or milk or less acidic drinks e.g. soya, almond or rice milks. However, Alflorex® Dual Action can be taken as part of a meal that has fruit juice, as the food will help protect the 35624® and 1714®cultures.
Do not exceed the stated dosage. Food supplements should not be used as substitutes for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of children. Store below 25°C.

What are the 35624® and 1714® cultures?
They are both naturally occurring and safe bacterial cultures, unique to PrecisionBiotics® and belonging to the Bifidobacterium longum species. These types of bacteria can be passed from mother to baby at birth and are native to the human gut. Both were discovered by PrecisionBiotics® and have been the focus of research by internationally renowned scientists and clinicians. Both have been fully genetically sequenced.
Are the strains in Alflorex® Dual Action compatible?
Mixing bacterial strains together can mean their individual properties are effected and they may even knock each other out. The clinical data for multiple strain formulations should be for the specified combination and not extrapolated from that of the individual strains.
A clinical trial confirmed the combination of the 35624® and 1714 ® strains were synergistic. These strains are contained in Alflorex® Dual Action
Why have you added calcium to the product?
Alflorex® Dual Action has been formulated to combine the unique 35624® strain and calcium, to support digestive health, as calcium plays an important role in supporting the normal functioning of digestive enzymes. Only 120mg of calcium is contained in each capsule of Alflorex® Dual Action, which equates to 15% of the NRV (the safe upper limit for calcium intake is 2500mg).
The calcium carbonate used in Alflorex® Dual Action is one of the most commonly used forms of calcium additives in food, and has been approved for its safety by the European Food Safety Authority, and international food safety organisations. The safety of calcium carbonate has been well established.
How many bacteria are in each capsule of Alflorex® Dual Action?
A single Alflorex® Dual Action capsule contains one billion bacteria, or 1x109 colony forming units (CFUs), at the time of manufacture. The dose in the capsule remains effective throughout its shelf-life. CFUs are an indication of how many bacterial cells are present. The number of bacteria in each Alflorex® Dual Action capsule has been chosen for optimal balance.
How quickly does the product work?
Alflorex® Dual Action begins working immediately. The specially selected 35624® and 1714® strains in Alflorex® Dual Action should reach your gut in peak condition within a few hours of taking Alflorex® Dual Action. Excellent!
My doctor recommended I start taking these after a stomach issue. Was a little bit skeptical but Im so impressed! I take the dual action and take it daily. Been taking for 2.5 weeks now and I feel so much better. What really stands out is my increase in energy and I definitely feel way less anxious. I would 100% recommend any one taking these. Slightly on the pricey side but its worth every penny/ cent

Better then the original one
I’ve started taking these for the past few weeks and I believe these are better than the one strand Alflorex. The price between the two isn’t much and I’d recommend paying a bit extra to have the Dual benefits.

Why calcium
My doctor has pointed out that calcium interferes with absorption of my thyroid medication, and is contributing to constipation which is ironically the reason I started taking probiotics, so honestly I miss the old version without the added calcium. Please bring it back because out of a dozen different brands this has been the best:)
